Welcome to Dazzling Delights South Africa.
These Terms of Service govern your use of www.dazzlingdelights.co.za and purchases made through our South African online store.
By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with the policies referred to on our store.
These Terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable South African law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
1. About Dazzling Delights
Dazzling Delights South Africa offers moissanite jewellery, loose moissanites and related products through our online store.
References to “Dazzling Delights”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms refer to the operator of the South African Dazzling Delights online store.
2. Using Our Website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- introduce malicious software or harmful code;
- use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- impersonate another person;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data; or
- use our content in a way that infringes our rights or those of another party.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to present product descriptions, measurements, specifications, colours and imagery accurately.
However, lighting, photography, screen settings and display technology may affect how colours, finishes and gemstones appear on your device.
Minor manufacturing tolerances may occur in handcrafted jewellery without changing the essential design, material specification or nature of the product.
4. Moissanite
Where a product is described as moissanite, it is sold as moissanite and not as natural diamond.
Carat-equivalent descriptions, where used, may be provided to help communicate approximate visual size and should not be interpreted as diamond carat weight unless expressly stated.
5. Handcrafted & Made-to-Order Jewellery
Much of our jewellery is handcrafted to order after the customer places an order.
Made-to-order moissanite jewellery is normally delivered approximately 3–4 weeks after the order has been processed.
During Black November and the Christmas period, delivery may extend to approximately 6 weeks, depending on order volumes.
Loose moissanites are normally delivered in approximately 3 weeks.
Custom solid-gold designs may take up to approximately 6 weeks to manufacture and deliver, depending on material availability and design complexity.
Where an individual product page states a different timeframe, the product-specific information takes precedence.
6. Prices & Payment
Prices on the South African store are displayed in South African rand (ZAR) unless expressly stated otherwise.
The final amount payable, including any applicable shipping charges, will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Prices, promotions and product availability may change without notice before an order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, typographical or listing errors, subject to applicable law.
7. Orders
Submitting an order does not prevent us from carrying out reasonable payment, fraud, product-availability or order-detail checks.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- payment cannot be authorised;
- an item cannot be supplied;
- material order information is incorrect;
- a genuine pricing or listing error has occurred; or
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any amount due will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and the payment method used.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Free national shipping is available on South African online orders over R1000.
Orders below R1000 are subject to a R100 shipping fee.

9. Returns & Refunds
Our return process is set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Because our jewellery is handcrafted to order, our standard policy does not ordinarily provide change-of-mind returns for made-to-order jewellery.
Damaged or defective items must be reported within the applicable return period stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in our policy removes statutory rights that apply under South African law.
10. Ring Sizing
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate ring size using the sizing information provided on the website.
Please check sizing carefully before ordering, particularly where the jewellery is made specifically to order.
11. Adjustable Rings
Adjustable ring styles must be used only within the size range stated for the relevant product.
Where an adjustable ring is specified for approximately sizes J½ to P, forcing the band beyond its intended range or repeatedly bending it may weaken the metal, damage the setting or loosen stones.
Damage caused by excessive adjustment, misuse or unauthorised alteration is not considered a manufacturing defect, subject always to rights that apply by law.
12. Gold-Plated & Gold-Finished Jewellery
Jewellery described as 18K Yellow Gold over Sterling Silver, 18K Rose Gold over Sterling Silver, gold-plated or similar is sterling-silver jewellery with a gold-coloured precious-metal finish.
It is not solid gold unless the product is expressly described as solid gold.
Gold plating naturally wears with time and use. Its longevity varies according to factors including:
- skin chemistry;
- perspiration;
- water exposure;
- perfume and cosmetics;
- household chemicals;
- friction; and
- how frequently the jewellery is worn.
Normal gradual wear of a plated finish is maintenance rather than a manufacturing defect.
We recommend avoiding unnecessary contact with water, chemicals and cosmetics and gently cleaning jewellery after wear.
13. Jewellery Care & Alterations
Jewellery should be worn and cared for appropriately.
Damage caused by impact, misuse, inappropriate cleaning, chemical exposure, unauthorised repair, resizing, excessive bending or third-party alteration may affect return or warranty eligibility to the extent permitted by law.
14. Gift Cards
Dazzling Delights gift cards may be used towards eligible purchases on the South African store in accordance with the terms displayed on the gift card product page and at checkout.
Where a purchase uses only part of the available gift-card value, the remaining balance stays associated with the gift card for future eligible purchases.
Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
15. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Dazzling Delights name, branding, website design, written content, graphics, product imagery and other original website material are owned by or licensed to Dazzling Delights.
They may not be reproduced, republished or commercially exploited without permission except where permitted by law.
16. Third-Party Services
Our store uses third-party service providers, which may include Shopify, payment processors, courier providers, analytics services and other technology providers.
Third-party websites and services operate subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
17. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection law, including POPIA.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dazzling Delights will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products where such liability may lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, policies, services or legal obligations.
The version published on the website at the relevant time will apply, subject to rights arising from orders already accepted and applicable law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms and purchases through the South African store are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction that apply by law.
